چکیده
A study of coding to reduce the frequency of errors in communication systems which transmit data at a constant rate has been started. A new single-error-correcting code (the Wagner code) is described and analyzed. Its performance in a constant-data-rate system is evaluated and compared with Hamming's single-errorcorrecting code. The Wagner code is superior for many communication applications. Its successful implementation does not require too precise equipment. CAMBRIDGE MASSACHUSETTS \ I It UNCLASSIFIED \ * r ;_^f ^ r

Massachusetts Institute of Technology Lincoln Laboratory Partial Fractions and Error-correcting Codes
In this note we show how partial fractions may be used to derive the properties of linear recursive sequences and, in particular, of Bose-Chaudhuri codes. One of the novel features of this method is a new and transparent proof of the basic result of Mattson-Solomon. Accepted for the Air Force Franklin C. With the dramatic increase in data volume, the automatic processing of this data becomes increasingly important. To process audio data, such as television and radio news broadcasts, speech recognizers have been used to obtain word transcriptions. Of late, new technologies have been developed to obtain speech metadata information, such as speaker segmentation, emotions, punctuation, et cetera. T...

متن کاملAn approach to fault detection and correction in design of systems using of Turbo codes
We present an approach to design of fault tolerant computing systems. In this paper, a technique is employed that enable the combination of several codes, in order to obtain flexibility in the design of error correcting codes. Code combining techniques are very effective, which one of these codes are turbo codes. The Algorithm-based fault tolerance techniques that to detect errors rely on the c...
